Without a doubt, for me Robben Ford.... ONE OF THE BEST GUITAR PLAYERS (HEROES) ... WHO CONTINUE WALKING THROUGH THE WORLD!! But please, if someone can tell me... What is the name of the song that begins at minute 54:42 that is in "C"? ...it was the first song I heard from Robben back in 1980 and I never knew the name. Thank you for share this video!! ;)

I was there - 5 days after college graduation from NIU with my girlfriend at the time, now my wife of 36 years. If I remember correctly, Weather Report, Spyra Gyra and Miles Davis all three played on this day - So cool to have seen Miles Davis at the Hollywood Bowl - .... and to think I wanted to go to the Baked Potato that night when our Uncle drove to the Hollywood Bowl and informed us that he had tickets for us all to see Miles Davis. Such a great memory - We named our second son Miles as a remembrance of this. Our son, Miles attended Temple University for jazz guitar and is now a jazz guitarist in the Philadelphia area. Thank you for posting this great memory

I actually prefer RF’s playing as a 20-something than I do his Blue Line up to now playing, which IMHO Is kind of a weird thing to say.

Robben was amazing even early on in his career. Sophisticated playing for one so young.

I love the fat beefy tone that Robben used to get with his 335. The later switch to Fender Eprit, etc., where the tone was much more refined, sounds so prissy to me by comparison.
